I also own the Devil May Cry HD collection, is it worth going back and playing those games before returning to DMC 5? Or are those too old for it to be worth it? The only problem with playing current releases is that if you decide you like the game and want to go back and play it's prequels, you end up playing a lesser and lesser version of the game (gameplay wise) most of the time. If you wanted to play any, though, you'd go with 1, 3, and 4. DMC2 is a bad game and is basically irrelevant to the story of 5 anyway. If you care about the story I recommend playing 3 and 4 before.
